IT Junior System Admin
We ar looking for a Junior System Admin. In this function, you’re responsible for solving incidents and taking care of all IT-related equipment of the workspaces in the broadest sense within our organization.
In close cooperation with the Head of IT, you work on the physical network as well as server applications and software. You configure, install, maintain, and upgrade (server) applications and hardware. You’re responsible for the technical environment, and you keep it running, while you can also support our employees in their hard and software issues/questions. You report directly to the Head of IT and work closely with key stakeholders in our organization.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Incident control
Responsible for delivering solutions to our IT incidents on time and in full.
Network and server maintenance
Both physical network and server maintenance and control are part of the daily activities. You configure, install, maintain, and upgrade (server) applications and hardware. You’re responsible for the technical environment, and you keep it running.
IT Security
Contribute to our IT security by monitoring the environment and seeking improvements.
Technical Improvement
Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize the IT landscape. Provide support to departments and their processes to contribute to efficient and effective business operations.
Asset management
Contributed to setting up an IT assets system and maintenance scheme.
Key Success Criteria
Qualifications:
Education
MBO System Admin level 4 or similar
Work Experience
Proven work experience as a Jr. System Administrator, Jr. Network Administrator or similar role for min. 2 years
Additional Qualifications
Experience with databases, networks and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with Ms/Office 365, TOPdesk/Freshdesk and Azure is a pre
Practical approach, ‘can do’ mentality
Pro-active and service-minded
Will to develop and invest in technical and personal development (e.g. LEAN, Prince2, yearly technical training)
Ability or willingness to develop software for automation (PowerShell, Mendix, SWL, other)
Language Skills
Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English
