Senior Financial Controller

The Senior Financial Controller is responsible for assisting the Finance Director in managing the financial operations of SWI, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Financial Reporting
Responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial(closing) statements
Support the creation of management reports and financial analyses
Budgeting and Forecasting
Contributing to the budgeting process and helping prepare financial forecasts
Analyse variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts
Accounts Management
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
Compliance and Risk Management
Assist inensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Support risk assessment and management processes
Identify and address financial risks annually
Liaise with tax consultants regarding corporate income tax, VAT and import duties
Process Improvement
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems
Contribute to the development of financial controls and procedures
Key Success Criteria
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Businesss Economics, or Accounting
Work Experience
At least 4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a trading company
Certifications
Other professional qualifications is a plus
Language Skills
Proficiency in English and Dutch is required
Knowledge & Experience
Understanding of financial markets and (alternative) investment products.
Knowledge of financial software and ERP systems (Business Central)
Intrinsic passion for investing and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
