Our Group

We do not distil. Everything after that sits within our own group: investment, warehousing in Scotland and our own single malt brand.

MO ÒR

The group’s own single malt brand, and a route to market for matured whisky.

Discover MO ÒR

Scotch Whisky Warehousing and MO ÒR are separate companies within the wider group. MO ÒR is a route to market for selected matured whisky; not all portfolio assets are bottled under it.

Infrastructure

Scotch Whisky Warehousing

Purpose-built, fully HMRC compliant bonded warehouses in Glenrothes, in the Kingdom of Fife, providing complete cask management under one roof: secure storage, regauging, sampling, filling, vatting, blending and bottling. Four dedicated warehouses offer capacity for more than 25,000 casks, and Glenrothes is where MO ÒR matures: home to our own casks alongside those of distilleries, bottlers and brand owners.

Brand

MO ÒR

MO ÒR is Celtic for my gold: a collection of currently 100+ rare editions dating back to the 1960s, including whisky from distilleries that no longer exist. Every bottle is naturally coloured, non-chill filtered and individually numbered by hand. A cask only becomes MO ÒR once it scores more than 85 points in our tasting assessment. That bar is high, and the whisky world notices: MO ÒR is popular within the Whiskybase community, the world's largest whisky platform with more than 5 million visitors a year. MO ÒR is among the highest-rated labels on the platform.

Why it matters

One chain, fewer hands

Each link is ours, so custody, quality and the route out stay inside the group.

01
Sourcing

Bought at the distillery

Long relationships with Scottish distilleries mean casks and rare bottles are offered to us directly, without a chain of intermediaries.

02
Storage

Held in our own warehousing

Casks mature in bonded warehousing in Scotland; bottles sit in the secured vault in Sassenheim. Both are insured and monitored by our own people.

03
Maturation

Continuously assessed by an independent panel

Our analysts follow each cask over time and an independent panel of whisky professionals assesses what is ready for bottling.

04
Route to market

Bottled or sold on

Matured whisky can be bottled under MO ÒR, bottled with the brand owner, or sold as a cask. Which route fits best is assessed as the whisky approaches its intended maturity.
