Alternative to stock tips

When someone starts investing, he or she naturally first looks for the best stock tips. Good research into stock tips is also necessary, because when you start investing, you naturally want to generate the best possible return. If you are also looking for the best stock tips, we have a solution for you. Because where you might normally not look beyond the 'traditional' stock market, we at Scotch Whisky Investments come up with a great alternative. We can help you go for good returns by investing in nothing but whisky. 'Whisky?', you may ask. Yes, whisky. In this text, we explain why we would like to tell you more about investing in whisky instead of giving you the more traditional stock tips.

The rapidly growing increase in value of Scotch single malt whisky

Whisky is quickly becoming more popular among serious investors, which is not surprising when you consider the historical increase in value of Scotch single malt whisky. In the period 2018-2024, research by SWI showed, the value of Scotch single malt whisky increased by about 10.5% per year (SWI research over 2018-2024; a historical average, not a guarantee for the future). On top of that, the value of this whisky grows exponentially from the moment the whisky is 21 years old. Not crazy numbers, right?

But how can this increase in value be explained? This has to do with supply and demand. Not only among serious investors, but also among collectors and whisky enthusiasts, Scotch single malt whisky is becoming increasingly popular. Especially if you look at emerging markets, such as the whisky market in Asia. The demand for whisky is therefore rising, while this is not the case for its production. Consequence? The whisky is worth more. Investors have also noticed this and so nice profits have already been made in recent years.

Help and opportunities for investing in whisky

You may not (yet) know much about whisky, the drink that is characterized by class, quality and craftsmanship. However, that doesn't have to be a problem because SWI is here to help you from the beginning to the end of your investment. We assist you from the purchase to the sale of your investment and take care of its storage and quality management in the meantime. This way you don't have to worry about anything and we go for capital growth, without you having to worry about it.

How does that work exactly? That's not complicated. At SWI you can choose from various investment options: investing through 'Managed Investing' or joining the Investors Club. With the former, you can start investing from €100,000,-, while the Investors Club (from €250,000) starts with a higher starting capital. For both options, we use terms of five to seven years.
